40 year old Canadian here, father of 2 boys. 8 years ago I heard about restoration and a toyed with it a bit on and off for the next 2 years. I had been cut at age 2, and was still pulling out stitches at age 20. When I started having sex, I would bleed frequently, and the circumcision had been so tightly done, it was painful and took days to heal after sometimes. When my first son was born, I then made the commitment to myself to see this through. My boys of course are not circumcised, nor would I recommend this to anyone else. I started seriously non-surgically restoring 6 years ago using various methods, including T-tape, weights and other devices. Along the way, I found one method worked better than another as the skin continued to change and lengthen. This has given me a decent foreskin, which was still a bit thick, baggy and occasionally fell back.

Less than 2 weeks ago, I had a surgical foreskin tightening procedure done by a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and effects were noticeable within a couple of days (after the surgery -- they were of course permanent and immediate). The procedure is painless under local anesthetic and I was awake the whole time. It took less than an hour and was done in an OR. During the initial couple of days after, the tightened foreskin was actually trying to push itself forward over the bandages that covered the single incision on the bottom side of the healing shaft (no visible stitches, they were inside -- you could only see tape holding the skin together), so I removed the bandages and let it happen. It moved foreward comfortably. I can't describe how those first moments felt, it was like I was truly complete -- and I continue to feel that way. It now has a more correct intact appearance, while still maintaining the natural functions of a foreskin. The foreskin is also thinner and sleeker, and it clings nicely with no excessive looseness along the length of my shaft. Totally surprised me to find that it aggressively pushes forward on its own most times, and no longer pops out randomly. When erect, it falls back as you would want it to. I still have not had intercourse, as it's way too early in the healing process, but anticipate that it will function just fine. My surgeon was specialized, and encourages me to continue to restore when it fully heals, so I can have more overhang. I expect to gently start again in about 5 weeks. Certainly the kind of guy you want to operate on you, who obviously advocates for this to be perfect when the process is fully done. In any case at present, there is very little of the scaring I thought I might have, and I am told this will become almost imperceptible as time goes on and be visible as perhaps only a hairline that will follow the underside of my penis, where there was a natural line before anyways. My wife has told me she cant believe how it looks and tells me I look as uncut as can be. In any case, I wish you luck in your restoration -- it takes alot of work, but dont give up. You wont regret it, and as with my wife, she enjoys the sex more and prefers it restored also. Good luck!
