Although tissue expansion is the basis of all non-surgical foreskin restoration, numerous methods have been developed to facilitate it. Some methods are tape-less and use devices of various sorts to grasp and pull the foreskin. Most methods use tape to adhere the foreskin to an external source of tension. The tape-based MTC method described here is comprised of two basic parts: the primary part is a variation on T-taping with tension, and the secondary is ordinary cross-taping. It is meant to be performed every day for 24 hours a day, apart from when necessity (hygiene, urinating, etc.) forbids. How long a complete restoration will take is variable, but two to four years is to be expected.

Below is an outline and video of the MTC method. The specifics on the supplies needed, T-taping, tensioning, and cross-taping are described in-depth on their own pages.

Clean

Remove the cross-tape from last night. In your morning shower, retract your foreskin and clean it thoroughly. Do not use soap as it will dry out the skin and mucus membrane and make them susceptible to tearing when under tension, but rinse with plain water while scrubbing with your fingertips. It is essential that the foreskin be clean for optimal tape adhesion.

Prepare to T-tape

While your penis dries, set up your supplies for T-taping. To hasten the drying, use a fan or a cold hairdryer to blow air across the retracted foreskin. With air, drying should take one or two minutes.

Apply T-tape

After fully dry, apply the T-tape and tape it to the hooked cone.

Tension

Hook the cone to your tension source. Take note of the time so you will know how long you have been tensioning. You should keep the foreskin under moderate tension for a minimum of four hours but ideally for eight hours.

If, for whatever reason, the T-tape should fail before four hours of tensioning, wash and dry the foreskin and reapply T-tape and tension.

Remove T-tape

After you have finished tensioning for the day, unhook and remove the T-tape. It will be fairly common for there to be a small amount of pre-ejaculate built up, so have a moist towel ready to clean the foreskin and glans penis.

Cross-tape

Pull your foreskin up as far as it will go and cross-tape it into place. The cross-taping should remain on for the remainder of the day and night, until you begin the process again the next day.
